Miss Pizza has been serving great wood-oven baked pizzas in Cihangir for over a decade. The menu consisting of more than 20 tastes of pizza is created with the assistance of a famous Italian chef. The range includes seafood, proscuitto (pork is very rarely found in restaurants in Istanbul), porcini mushrooms, and many other fresh and healthy ingredients.
“Unlike Italy, you had to go to an expensive restaurant in Istanbul to taste authentic wood-oven baked pizzas. This had to change.” says Selen, one of the owners of Miss Pizza. I could not agree more. Thanks to Selen, we now have a great neighborhood pizzeria without the hassles of an expensive restaurant such as dress code. Selen prefers to locally source all the ingredients (except the prosciutto) so they are fresh at all time. Perhaps this is one of the secrets to her success.

The open kitchen enables you to watch the preparation of your pizza. Meanwhile why don’t you chill out with home-made plum juice and taste some appetizers such as a bresaola plate?
I can recommend Pizza Pesto which has pesto sauce, marinated zucchini, ricotta, cherry tomatoes and parmigiana. An alternative would be Pizza Mare with calamari, shrimps, fresh herbs, onions, black olives and oregano.
Of course, tiramisu is also waiting for you after your meal. Wine is also served by glass or bottle. The wine selection is mostly local and the price is decent.
