Every page that contains affiliate links shows a short notice at the top, and that notice links back to this page. On most pages the notice means I would recommend the linked option to a friend. On some pages, such as those covering hotels or travel insurance, my picks come from research rather than personal testing of every option, and the notice says so. On pages with Amazon links, the notice also includes Amazon’s required disclosure.
